Or not. I slacked off this past week and didn’t really do a lot of work for my author career. I didn’t even look at the crime podcast I’m studying. Nope, I was in an artsy mood last week and that’s what I did. Sometimes, I just don’t want to write. It sucks and it makes my author blog a bit dull today.
Although, I do have some exciting news I would like to share. I bought Harry Potter and the Cursed Child parts I & II: The Offical Script Book of the Original West End Production by Jack Thorne.
I’ll admit I wasn’t going to purchase this script-novel-thing. I didn’t think it was worth the read because J.K. Rowling wasn’t the main author of this creation. But then it made me realize it was kind of a silly thought. I am happy to say I read all the previous books. When the books became movies I saw all those movies without much question behind the action. J.K. Rowling did help in parts of making the movies, but she wasn’t the director behind their creation. She obviously supported their make. In the back of this novel’s cover there is a picture with her standing amongst Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. Her standing with them tells me it is safe to assume she supports the creation of this piece. I’m going to get my head out of the clouds and see what it’s like. On another day I’ll share a review of this novel.
